What makes a signal useful?
A signal is evidence that can change your next decision: a relevant public question, a change at an account or a customer problem your offer can address. A keyword match by itself is not permission or proof of buying intent.
Start with a clear business question and inspect the original source before selecting a record for research.
What is the handoff?
Listening collects and prioritizes the supported source. Your team reviews relevance and chooses the records worth researching. Keep the source context when handing the selected audience to Outbound, then prepare a sequence for that audience.
Module access, connected identities, result caps and campaign readiness apply at each step. An automatic handoff needs its own configured conditions; do not assume that enabling a source launches outreach.
What counts as success?
For an initial play, success can be a smaller, better explained shortlist and a sequence grounded in verified facts. Track real campaign outcomes separately: delivery, replies and qualified conversations.
Do not call a draft a sent message or a demo acknowledgement a provider receipt. Use the research guide and Product labs to understand those boundaries before a live pilot.
